The E Ink screen of the Kindle has a limited grey-scale range and is slow to refresh so the this is not ideal for dynamic web pages but the browser is very capable and, combined with the "reading mode" that turns a webpage into a linear format with black text on a white background, the browser is more useful that it might seem at first.
